Meet Our Staff:
Robert Hiza, CPA, CFP
Robert Hiza comes from a family of entrepreneurs – a grandfather who owned a trucking company and father who owned his own grocery store and deli. Robert started working at his father’s deli at a very young age developing his expertise in business management and learning how to save money. His love of finance had him investing in the stock market at the early age of 11. The idea of investing and saving his money was a valuable lesson he learned from his grandparents. Robert then went on to attend the University of Miami staying close to his grandparents who retired in Florida. He ended up moving back to New Jersey and graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Upon graduation he worked for several companies in private accounting before starting his own practice. Robert does tax work for both public and private companies in a broad range of industries emphasizing auto, pharmaceutical industry, real estate, wholesale distributors, manufacturing and the construction industry. He has extensive knowledge in Income tax preparation for individuals, businesses, and especially estates and trusts. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, he is also a Certified Financial Planner with the CFP designation. Robert used to be an adjunct professor at Bergen Community College teaching tax courses for the CFP exam. He loves what he does and enjoys meeting with his clients. When he is not working he enjoys spending his free time with his family.
Kimberly Hiza, CPA
Kimberly Hiza grew up in a close family with regular Sunday dinners and good family values. Her love of mathematics led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. For her being a CPA is not just about adding and subtracting the numbers like most people would think. For Kimberly it’s about helping people by using her knowledge in tax and accounting. In 2008 Kimberly also formed New Jersey Home Mortgage, LLC currently holding a Qualified Individual Correspondent Residential Mortgage Lender license where she is able to help her clients with mortgage purchases and refinances. Influenced by a family that is very involved in the community Kimberly also formed Shining Stars Foundation, a non-profit organization, with a purpose to raise money to assist families of special needs children and young adults to attend summer enrichment programs that might otherwise be difficult for them to afford. Kimberly enjoys spending her free time with her two small children building sand castles at the beach.
